About This Access Site
Million Dollar Mile South is a public boat access point located on the east side of Banks Lake, near Coulee City in Grant County. This one-lane concrete ramp provides a convenient launch for kayakers, canoeists, and small boats accessing the mid-lake area. The site features gravel parking and is open year-round, making it a reliable option for seasonal paddling. Restrooms are available on-site.

Banks Lake is a large, scenic reservoir created as part of the Columbia Basin Project, offering excellent paddling opportunities across its expansive water. To reach the ramp, head west from Coulee City on Highway 2, turn right at the public fishing sign, and continue about 1.2 miles to the campground and boat launch. Note that this is a single-lane ramp, so plan accordingly during busy periods. If you need additional amenities, the nearby Coulee City Boat Launch (located at the lake's southeast corner) offers a four-lane concrete ramp with docks, though Million Dollar Mile South is well-suited for most paddling access needs.
