About This Access Site
The De Anza Cove boat launch in San Diego's Mission Bay provides easy access to explore the bay by kayak, canoe, or small powerboat. This launch ramp caters to a variety of watercraft, with ample parking available nearby.

The launch site is located in the eastern portion of Mission Bay, which is a large, protected bay ideal for leisurely paddling or motorized boating. Paddlers can enjoy calm waters and scenery along the bay's shorelines, while powerboaters have room to cruise. A comfort station with showers is available on-site. While there is no official lifeguard, the bay is generally calm and hospitable for recreational use.

For those looking to further enjoy the San Diego area, the nearby Cabrillo National Monument and San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge offer additional opportunities for outdoor exploration and wildlife viewing. The boat launch provides a convenient starting point to access these natural wonders by water.
