Misty Cove is a public boat launch providing easy access to the scenic Cumberland River and Old Hickory Lake. Located in Lebanon, Tennessee, this launch site offers a convenient entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and other recreational boaters.
The Cumberland River is a large, navigable waterway with moderate current. Old Hickory Lake, formed by a dam on the river, offers over 22,000 acres of open water, coves, and tributaries to explore. Misty Cove is situated in one of the lake's many sheltered embayments, providing a calm launching area protected from winds and waves. This area is popular for fishing, with Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and other species found throughout the lake.
Facilities at Misty Cove include a concrete boat ramp and ample parking. As part of the Shady Cove Resort recreation area, the launch is open to the public but not reservable. Boaters should check conditions and obey all posted rules and regulations when using this access site.
