About This Access Site

Located near the Delma Furniss Hospitality Station at the intersection of Highways 61 and 49, the site provides free public parking. **Important note: There is no boat ramp at Moon Lake.** Canoes and kayaks can be launched to the right of the beach area, making it suitable for small paddle craft and hand-launched boats.

**Fees and Planning:** Day use fees of $5 per vehicle apply from May 15–October 15 (or $30 for an annual pass covering multiple recreation areas). Those camping at the Marion Lake Group Site nearby are exempt from day use fees. **Water Level Considerations:** Moon Lake's water level fluctuates significantly and changes daily, typically being fullest in May and June at the start of the season, so plan accordingly. Obey all posted safety signs and check current conditions before launching. For additional information or to purchase an annual pass, contact the campground host at 906-661-8870.
