**Location & Access**
Moore's Creek SRA Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Monroe Lake, Indiana's largest reservoir at 10,750 acres, located about 10 miles southeast of Bloomington in Monroe County. The ramp features a 31' × 16' paved launch area with ample parking (20 spaces) and vault restrooms, making it a well-developed access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.
**Facilities & Nearby Amenities**
The site includes picnic tables, a small grill, and grassy areas suitable for day use. The ramp is noted by local paddlers as the best launch for accessing nearby Ramp Creek. Blackwell Campground is available within 10 miles for those planning overnight trips. As one of nine boat ramps around Monroe Lake, Moore's Creek is a popular choice for launching and is generally less congested than some alternatives on the lake.
**Paddling Considerations**
The large reservoir offers excellent opportunities for recreational paddling, fishing, and boating. Note that the Ramp Creek area has shallow spots and vegetation that can present obstacles—Moore's Creek Ramp is the closest launch for that region. The lake supports a range of water activities year-round within the Hoosier National Forest setting.
