Mormon Island West State Recreation Area

Mormon Island West offers excellent access to Shoemaker Island via dedicated boat ramps on Lakes 1 and 2, making it an ideal destination for kayakers and canoeists. The area is designated as a no-wake lake, providing a calm, protected paddling environment perfect for recreational paddlers of all skill levels. All boat types are permitted on the water.
