Mt. Pisgah State Park

Parking, restrooms, and a boat rental concessionaire are all located nearby, making this a well-equipped facility for day trips.

Stephen Foster Lake is designated for electric motors only at slow, no-wake speeds, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, paddleboarders, and anglers seeking a peaceful paddling experience. The lake's depth ranges from eight inches to five feet, providing calm, protected water suitable for various skill levels. The lake is stocked with perch, bass, crappie, and bluegill for those interested in fishing. Seasonal mooring spaces are available for rent if you're planning an extended visit.
