Located at Gil Waters Preserve in Detroit Lakes, Becker County, the Munson Lake boat ramp provides public access to this 134-acre lake. The launch is a stand-alone ramp facility managed by the government for general public use and is currently open for business. Most boats up to 12-18 feet can be launched here, though larger vessels may be accommodated depending on conditions. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required by the park.
Munson Lake reaches a maximum depth of 26 feet and offers a scenic setting suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and general boating.
