About This Access Site
**Access & Facility Details**
The paved boat ramp at Fisherman's Boat Ramp provides access to Upper Mystic Lake off Mystic Valley Parkway near the south outlet. The ramp is suitable for small boats, though conditions are reported as fair. There's a short, steep bank with worn pathways and limited shoreline space for boarding. Shoreline access is excellent along the eastern and southern shores, with additional access points scattered around the lake's perimeter.

**Boating Conditions & Restrictions**
**No motorized boats are permitted on Upper Mystic Lake**, making it ideal for kayakers and canoeists. From this access point, paddlers can explore Upper Mystic Lake or venture downstream to Lower Mystic Lake (where power boats with no-wake restrictions apply) and continue downriver toward Medford Center. The route features gentle current and pleasant paddling conditions with minimal obstacles.

**Nearby Recreation**
The lake supports diverse fish species including bass, pickerel, crappie, and panfish, making it popular with anglers. Adams National Historical Park and nearby state parks offer additional outdoor recreation opportunities in the Medford area.
