About This Access Site
Located on the west side of Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Nagy Park offers a well-developed public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The facility features a concrete boat ramp, loading pier, breakwall protection, and a large parking lot, making it convenient for launching and retrieving watercraft. This is a primary access point to Wisconsin's largest inland lake.

Lake Winnebago is a substantial shallow freshwater lake covering over 137,000 acres, making it suitable for various water activities. Paddlers should note that as a large, shallow lake, conditions can vary significantly with wind and weather. The Nagy Park location provides good infrastructure for both day trips and longer excursions on the lake.
