About This Access Site
The Nancy Lake State Recreation Area offers excellent boating and paddling opportunities on the peaceful waters of Nancy Lake. This boat ramp provides easy access to explore the lake by kayak, canoe, or small motorized boat.

The lake itself is relatively large, spanning over 1,500 acres, with calm waters that are well-suited for leisurely paddling and motorized boating. Fishing is a popular activity on the lake, which is stocked with trout and other species. Several public-use cabins are accessible by boat, offering opportunities for overnight trips.

Boaters should be aware that the use of motorized vessels is allowed on Nancy Lake, as well as a few other nearby lakes and the Little Susitna River. However, there are no size restrictions for RVs or camping limits, so the area can accommodate a variety of outdoor enthusiasts. Amenities at the access site include a boat ramp, picnic sites, and restrooms, making it a convenient spot to launch your watercraft and enjoy the natural beauty of the Nancy Lake region.
