Nelson Memorial Park

Nelson Memorial Park in Plymouth offers a well-equipped public launch facility for kayakers, canoeists, and small boats accessing Plymouth Harbor. The park features a dedicated canoe and kayak launch ramp along with a small boat ramp, making it suitable for various paddle craft. **Practical Information for Paddlers:** Parking is available in the main lot for vehicles with boats. However, if you plan to walk the jetty or access the park without launching a boat, parking is available just outside the entrance on either side of the sewer plant. Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed. The park operates seasonally, with a splash pad and full amenities available Memorial Day through Labor Day. Season passes are available for calendar-year use (January 1–December 31). This is a family-friendly location with good facilities, making it an accessible starting point for exploring Plymouth Harbor.
