About This Access Site
**Nooksack River | Cedarville, WA**

Nugents Corner offers a concrete boat launch providing direct access to the Nooksack River for kayakers, canoeists, and other boaters. The site features a dedicated parking area and is conveniently located near Highway 542, making it easily accessible for day trips. This is a popular put-in point for paddlers exploring the main fork of the Nooksack, and the area is known for good fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The access site operates year-round and is managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. A Washington State Discover Pass is required for use. Note that the facility does not include restrooms or camping amenities, so plan accordingly. Upriver from this location, the Nooksack becomes increasingly braided and complex, so paddlers should be prepared for changing river conditions.
