About This Access Site
Oak Harbor Marina offers a public boat ramp located on Whidbey Island in the Salish Sea, providing convenient access to Saratoga Passage and surrounding waters. The ramp is situated just south of the marina, approximately a half-mile from downtown Oak Harbor. A yearly pass is required and must be obtained at the Marina Office with a check or credit card; you'll receive a ramp pass for your trailer and/or vehicle license plate.

The marina itself supports kayakers and boaters with several amenities including transient guest moorage (up to 100 boats available), a fuel dock with pump-out service, and shower facilities. Free shuttle service to town is available for marina guests. The floating breakwater accommodates vessels up to 40 feet, while pump-out access is limited to boats 75 feet or smaller. Island Transit bus service (Zone 3) is available Monday-Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, with advance reservations required by calling dispatch at (360) 678-7771.

The location provides excellent paddling opportunities, with access to the scenic Saratoga Passage and proximity to notable recreation areas including Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve and Fort Casey State Park. Fort Casey Campground is located within 10 miles for those planning overnight trips.
