About This Access Site
Located in Rye along Route 1A, this boat ramp provides access to Berrys Brook and surrounding waters including Witch Creek, Fairhill Swamp, and Seavey Creek. The ramp is an ideal launch point for paddlers exploring the scenic estuary system near New Hampshire's Great Bay. Park amenities include seasonal facilities at the main entrance, and the Seacoast Science Center is located within the park for those interested in learning more about the local ecosystem.

Paddlers have multiple route options depending on skill level. Berrys Brook itself is well-suited for beginner to intermediate kayakers and canoeists, while the more challenging Little Harbor to Leachs Island route (adults only) offers an intermediate paddle. The area's proximity to the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge makes this a excellent base for exploring New Hampshire's largest estuarine system. Note that park admission is required; visitors interested in accessing the Seacoast Science Center should confirm current hours and reservation requirements before visiting.
