About This Access Site
Okobojo Point Recreation Area offers convenient access to Lake Oahe, a massive 2,000+ mile shoreline reservoir on the Missouri River. The boat ramp is located at the southern tip of Okobojo Point near the main RV campsites, making it easily accessible for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. The calm, clear waters of Lake Oahe are ideal for paddling, fishing, diving, and water sports. The recreation area features sandy beaches and scenic rolling prairie views along the Missouri River corridor.

This day-use and camping facility provides a full recreation experience beyond paddling, with amenities including a sandy beach, volleyball courts, shore fishing opportunities, and picnic areas.
