Osage Park Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Skiatook Lake via the Hominy Creek system in Skiatook, Osage County. Located just off Highway 20 on the north side of the lake, this is one of several launch points along the scenic shoreline. The facility is managed through Recreation.gov and requires an activity pass for use.
Skiatook Lake offers a gentle paddling environment, surrounded by rolling hills dotted with Blackjack and Post Oak trees interspersed with Tall Grass Prairie. The lake's meandering shoreline provides excellent exploration opportunities for kayakers and canoeists of various skill levels. The area is part of a well-developed recreation corridor with multiple parks, camping areas (including Tall Chief Cove, Bull Creek, and Twin Points campgrounds), and amenities along the water. Nearby Birch Lake offers additional paddling options on Birch Creek, a tributary system in the region.
