**Location & Access:** Oslo Road Public Boat Ramp provides public access to the Indian River Lagoon near Vero Beach, Florida. Located at the intersection of Oslo Road (9th Street SE) and US1, the ramp is approximately ¾ mile east on 9th Street SE. This is a government-owned facility managed by Indian River County and open for general public use. Note that access is limited to the Indian River Lagoon only.
**Facilities & Conditions:** The ramp features a single poured-in-place concrete lane in good to excellent condition. The site is relatively modest compared to nearby alternatives—Riverside Park (6 miles away) offers significantly more amenities, including a 75-foot-wide ramp, floating docks, ample parking, bathrooms, and picnic areas. Paddlers and boaters should plan accordingly and consider nearby MacWilliam Park if additional facilities are needed.
**What to Know:** This access point serves kayakers, canoeists, and small boats launching into the Indian River Lagoon's shallow waters. The lagoon is a sensitive estuarine ecosystem with seagrass beds and mangrove fringe, so paddlers should be mindful of marine habitats and follow local manatee protection guidelines.
