Otter Creek - Otter Lake Park - 2

Otter Lake is a 602-acre recreational lake in Chippewa County with a maximum depth of 43 feet, offering good conditions for paddlers and boaters. The boat ramp at this mid-lake access point is located on the north side of Emmerson Airline Road, with the park office and bait shop conveniently situated on the south side. Note that Otter Lake is a **no-wake lake from 7:30 PM to 11:00 AM**, making early morning and evening hours especially peaceful for kayaking and canoeing.

The lake features a scenic day-use area with a swimming beach, picnic facilities, and grills. Be aware that many of the lake's banks are steep-sided and lined with riprap. The day-use area is gated and locked during certain hours, so plan your visit accordingly. This is an excellent destination for paddlers seeking a quieter lake experience with good amenities and multiple access points around the water body.
