About This Access Site
The Panguitch Lake North boat ramp provides excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats to explore this scenic high-mountain lake. Located at the Lake View Resort, the public boat ramp offers a convenient launching point on the north end of Panguitch Lake.

Panguitch Lake sits at an elevation of 8,212 feet and is the source of Panguitch Creek. The cool, clear waters are home to thriving populations of rainbow, brook, cutthroat, and brown trout, making it a popular fishing destination. In addition to the north ramp, there is another public boat ramp on the south shore of the lake. A fish cleaning station is available onsite for anglers.

The surrounding Dixie National Forest and Cedar Breaks National Monument offer abundant recreational opportunities for hikers, OHV riders, and wildlife viewers. Potable water is available at the access site. Boaters should note that while small rental boats may be available, there are no services for launching or retrieving larger watercraft at this location.
