About This Access Site
The Pardue Boat Launch provides access to the Cumberland River at Cheatham Lake in Charlotte, Tennessee. This location is situated at the junction of the Cumberland River and the Harpeth River, on the south side of the lake. The boat ramp offers a convenient entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats looking to explore the scenic Cumberland River.

The Cumberland River in this section is part of the Cheatham Lake impoundment, a reservoir managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Boaters can expect a large, navigable waterway with moderate current and ample opportunities for recreation. The nearby Cheatham Lock and Dam provides additional access to the river and surrounding wildlife management areas.
