About This Access Site
Located in Little Egg Harbor Township, the Parkertown Municipal Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Little Egg Harbor and the surrounding estuarine system. The facility features an asphalt ramp with adequate water depth even at low tide, making it a reliable launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. This location is ideal for exploring the shallow, protected waters of the Little Egg Harbor area.

The ramp provides access to one of New Jersey's most ecologically significant paddling regions. Nearby paddlers can explore the Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve at Mullica River and Great Bay, as well as the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. These protected areas offer excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and scenic paddling through salt marshes and coastal waters.
