Parrot Cove Marina offers a single-lane boat ramp providing access to Palma Sola Bay, a calm, protected waterway ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters. Located in Bradenton near Cortez, this "old Florida" style marina is situated in a well-sheltered area with minimal wave action, making it an excellent launching point for paddlers of various skill levels. The facility is located at 11510 36th Ave West, Bradenton, FL 34210.

To reach Palma Sola Bay by water, enter at markers #1 and #2 near marker #50 on the Intracoastal Waterway, north of the Cortez Bridge. From there, proceed east about half a mile to a junction of three channels and take the southernmost channel. The bay's protected waters make it suitable for leisurely paddling and exploration, while nearby attractions include Passage Key National Wildlife Refuge and De Soto National Memorial, offering opportunities for wildlife viewing and historical exploration.
