Patagonia Lake State Park offers two cement boat ramps suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized vessels when water levels are normal. Located on State Route 82 between Patagonia and Nogales in Rio Rico, this 2.5-mile-long lake welcomes both motorized and non-motorized boating. A day-use or camping permit covers boat launching with no additional fees. The park is open from 4 am to 10 pm daily.
This scenic lake is ideal for paddlers seeking a calm-water destination, with opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing (watch for great blue herons and whitetail deer), and exploring the surrounding Santa Cruz River valley. The park offers full amenities including a marina, campground, beach, picnic areas, and hiking trails. For current lake conditions, water levels, or marina services including boat rentals, contact the marina directly at (520) 287-2804.
