Paul's Memorial is the only public access point to Lake Five, a scenic 164-acre mountain lake in the Flathead National Forest near West Glacier. The day-use facility offers a boat ramp, dock (available ice-off through October 15), swim dock, and parking for up to 8 vehicle trailers. An on-site host is present during the operating season. The calm waters make this an ideal launch for kayakers and canoeists seeking a quieter paddling experience, as personal watercraft (jet skis) are prohibited on the lake.
Located just west of Glacier National Park in Flathead County, Paul's Memorial provides easy access to pristine mountain scenery. The site includes vault toilets and is well-positioned for day trips. Several campgrounds lie within 10 miles, including Fish Creek, Apgar, and Emery Bay, offering overnight options for visitors planning extended stays in the area. Paddlers should note that the dock is seasonal, so spring and fall conditions may vary.
