About This Access Site
Pelican Marina is a full-service boat ramp facility located on the south end of Upper Klamath Lake near Klamath Falls, Oregon. This is an excellent access point for paddlers and boaters looking to explore the largest freshwater lake west of the Rocky Mountains. The marina offers a developed boat launch with convenient water access to the expansive 91-square-mile lake, which stretches nearly 30 miles long and up to eight miles wide.

Beyond the ramp itself, Pelican Marina provides additional amenities and services including factory-authorized marine engine repair and boat sales. The facility is family-owned and dedicated to serving lake visitors. The location near Putnam's Point and Moore Park makes it an ideal starting point for kayaking, canoeing, and boating excursions on the lake. Nearby, the Klamath Hills Recreation Area offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, including eagles, quail, and chukar partridges, making this a scenic destination for multi-activity outings.
