About This Access Site
The Peninsula Camping and Boating Resort provides convenient lake access for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters on Rollins Lake in northern California. The resort features a concrete boat ramp and floating dock with tie-ups, making it easy to launch your watercraft.

Rollins Lake is a popular destination for water sports and fishing, with good populations of trout and bass. The lake is located just off Highway 174, about 7 miles north of Colfax. Boaters should be aware that water levels can fluctuate, especially in the fall when the Foresthill Public Utility District may be transferring water from the lake. This can expose underwater hazards, so caution is advised.

The resort offers a range of amenities for visitors, including a sandy swim beach, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. Boat rentals and fuel are also available on-site. Whether you're looking to paddle, fish, or simply enjoy the scenic lake, the Peninsula Camping and Boating Resort provides a great access point to Rollins Lake.
