The Pequea Boat Ramp provides public access to Pequea Creek, a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Lancaster County. Located at 86 Fox Hollow Road in Pequea, PA, the facility features a paved, single-lane ramp (12 feet wide) with a gravel parking lot. Note that Fox Hollow Road includes a sharp left turn off Route 324 South and crosses a covered bridge with an 11'6" clearance and 5-ton weight limit, so plan accordingly for vehicle size. The access area is situated about 3/4 mile from Pequea Creek Campground and includes an interpretive panel about the river's physical characteristics.
This access point is part of the 53-mile Susquehanna River Water Trail—Lower Section, managed by the Susquehanna National Heritage Area, making it an excellent put-in for paddlers exploring the lower Susquehanna system. For current water conditions and flow updates, contact Holtwood Hydro or the Lower Susquehanna River Hotline. Day-use parking is available through the adjacent Pequea Campground (fee required at the camp store).
