**Facilities & Recreation:** This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area offers a concrete boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto Rough River Lake. The 5,100-acre lake provides excellent opportunities for paddling, fishing, and general boating. Note that there is a modest launch fee ($4) to use this ramp, as it operates through Peter Cave Marina. The marina also has a store where you can purchase supplies and bait if needed. The ramp is typically accessible year-round, though conditions may vary seasonally.
