The Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife Area offers boat ramp access to Adams Lake near Wolcottville in LaGrange County. Multiple boat ramps are available throughout the property, making this a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. Electric motors are permitted on the lake. Note that canoeing and kayaking may be restricted during waterfowl season—contact the area office before your visit for current regulations.
Basic facilities include pit toilets at the park headquarters and Curtis Creek Trout Rearing Station. There are no paved trails on the property. A convenience station in nearby Mongo, Indiana, offers gas and snacks. Swimming is prohibited at this site. The area is also used for hunting and fishing, so be aware of seasonal activities when planning your visit.
