About This Access Site
The Pikeville boat ramp provides access to the scenic Little Missouri River and Lake Greeson in western Arkansas. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility is located near the town of Kirby in Pike County.

Paddlers and small boaters will find this a convenient launch site for exploring the lake and the upper reaches of the Little Missouri River. The river is generally calm and navigable by canoe, kayak, and small motorized boats, though water levels can fluctuate. Lake Greeson offers more open water for recreational boating. The nearby Self Creek and Jim Wylie Campgrounds provide camping, fishing, and other amenities for visitors to the area.

For those seeking more river-based adventures, the Riverside Day Use Area just a few miles north offers another access point to the Little Missouri River below the Narrows Dam. Overall, the Pikeville boat ramp is a reliable launch for enjoying the natural beauty of this corner of Arkansas.
