Pilot Knoll Park offers a two-lane concrete boat ramp with parking for approximately 30 vehicles, located on the Hickory Creek Arm of Lewisville Lake near Highland Village. The ramp is accessed via the Hickory Creek exit off I-35E from Lewisville. This is a day-use facility with a large recreation area featuring restrooms, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters exploring the 29,592-acre lake.
The park includes additional amenities such as swim areas, horseshoes, volleyball, and hiking trails, providing options for a full day of recreation. Note that park passes are required (fees vary for residents and non-residents), and the ramp may close periodically during high water or flooding conditions.
