About This Access Site
Pine Lake offers a convenient public boat landing in the Nicolet National Forest near Hiles, Wisconsin. The access features a paved boat ramp with an attached boat dock and a large paved parking area suitable for trailers. A vault toilet is available on-site. The landing is plowed during winter months through a partnership arrangement, making it accessible year-round for ice fishing and winter activities.
This 1,673-acre lake is suitable for both motorized and non-motorized boating, including kayaking and canoeing. The lake has a maximum depth of 15 feet with low water clarity. Anglers will find panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. A picnic area is available nearby, and a small beach for swimming is located within walking distance in the adjacent campground area. The access point is outside but close to the campground facilities.
