Pleasure Point Landing is a public boat ramp and marina on the shores of Big Bear Lake in San Bernardino County, California. Located near the Stanfield Cutoff, this access site provides an easy launch point for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.
The ramp itself has a single boarding float, accommodating up to 6 vehicles with trailers. The marina offers 20 dry storage spaces for boats up to 26 feet in length. While the site is currently closed for the season, it typically reopens in the spring to serve the many recreational boaters who enjoy exploring the 7-mile-long Big Bear Lake.
Paddlers and boaters should note that the lake is situated at an elevation of over 6,700 feet, leading to cooler temperatures and potentially windier conditions than lower-elevation waterways. Proper safety gear and preparation is advised. Those with larger trailered vessels may also want to consider the East Ramp near the Discovery Center or the West Ramp closer to the Big Bear Dam as alternative launch points.
