About This Access Site
Poison Creek Boat Ramp is a paved launch facility on Lake Cascade in Lake Cascade State Park, located near Donnelly in Valley County. The ramp provides access to Lake Cascade, a reservoir formed by Cascade Dam that serves as part of the Boise and Payette River Basins. This is a well-maintained facility suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats, with amenities including day-use parking and nearby restroom facilities.

The site is part of a larger recreation complex that includes a full-service campground with 21 campsites offering water, electric, and sewer hookups, plus improved restroom facilities with flush toilets and showers. Winter camping is available at this ramp on a first-come, first-served basis—check the on-site kiosk for current rates and payment options. Fishing in the West Fork of the Weiser River. ATV trail to the south, and a non-motorized vehicle trail to the north. Be careful not to trespass in this area, as the public lands are interspersed with private land.
