Located in Pittsburg on the Pomme De Terre Lake, this access point is part of Hermitage State Park and offers a paved boat launch for easy water access. Pomme de Terre Lake is known as the "Gem of the Ozarks" for its cool, clear spring-fed waters and extensive 113-mile shoreline winding through the scenic west-central Missouri Ozarks. The lake is popular for fishing, with opportunities for bass, walleye, catfish, crappie, and muskie.
The state park operates multiple boat ramps across both the Hermitage and Pittsburg sides of the lake. This particular launch is one of four paved ramps available throughout the park. The area also features a marina for additional boating services and support facilities. Note that some access points have seasonal availability (March through November), so it's worth checking ahead for current conditions and any specific details about this launch location.
