Porcupine Bay Campground

Porcupine Bay Campground offers convenient water access on the Spokane Arm of Lake Roosevelt, a 130-mile reservoir created by the Grand Coulee Dam. The campground features a boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, making it an ideal base for exploring this expansive water body. The 31 non-electric campsites are nestled among ponderosa pines and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis year-round. Day-use areas with picnic tables are also available for paddlers launching for the day.

**Practical Information:** The campground operates year-round, though drinking water is shut off in winter and roads are not plowed during snow. There is a free dump station and water fill-up available for RVs. Maximum occupancy is two units and 10 people per site. The site is located west of Davenport on the Spokane Arm, which is generally calmer than the main reservoir and suitable for various paddling skill levels. During summer, the campground offers a free amphitheater and scheduled recreational activities. Nearby Attractions
Just 8.5 miles away is the Fort Spokane Visitor Center and Museum. The former guardhouse is located in the middle of historic Fort Spokane. The visitor center and museum are open seasonally, from Memorial Day to Labor Day of each year. They may be opened upon request the rest of the year.There are also trails that include a self guided tour of the grounds that are open all year long.

Individual Campsites: A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a one-night reservation will forfeit the entire amount paid and will not be subject to an additional service fee.
