About This Access Site
Located in Ocean Park on the south end of Willapa Bay, the Port of Peninsula boat basin provides a convenient launch point for exploring this productive estuary. The facility offers boat launching, toilets, and shower facilities. The launch area and parking lot can experience flooding during extreme high tides, so plan your visit accordingly and be aware of tidal conditions.

This is a good staging area for paddlers and boaters looking to explore Willapa Bay and access the surrounding waterways. The nearby Willapa National Wildlife Refuge offers additional paddling opportunities and important habitat for migratory birds. Note that much of the shoreline around Willapa Bay is privately owned and managed for clam and shellfish production, so respect posted property boundaries and access restrictions. Access the boat basin via 275th Street in Nahcotta.
