The Port of Poulsbo Marina offers a convenient public boat ramp located at the south end of the facility, next to the Marine Science Center. This is an excellent launch point for exploring Liberty Bay, which offers calm, protected waters separated from the main Puget Sound by a narrow channel. The ramp accommodates kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, with a $5 launch fee. Public parking is available at the Port's parking lot at 19133 Jensen Way.
The marina itself is well-equipped with numerous amenities including a fuel dock, pump-out stations, dinghy dock, and bathhouse facilities. Downtown Poulsbo is just a short walk away, making this an ideal access point for day trips or longer explorations of Liberty Bay. Given Liberty Bay's protected nature and proximity to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks on the Lake Washington Ship Canal, this location offers access to diverse paddling and boating opportunities in the greater Puget Sound region.
