About This Access Site
Located at the end of Portanimicut Road in Orleans, this town landing provides free cartop and hand-launch access to Pah Wah Pond and Little Pleasant Bay. The site features parking for approximately 45 vehicles and is best suited for kayaks, canoes, and small boats. The entrance is located across from Tyco Electronics, Inc. at 1011 Pawtucket Boulevard.

This is a sheltered freshwater and brackish water access point ideal for paddlers seeking calm conditions. The pond offers good opportunities for exploring local waterways and fishing for largemouth bass and pickerel. From this launch, paddlers can access both the pond environment and connect to Little Pleasant Bay for more expansive paddling opportunities.

The site is conveniently positioned near the Cape Cod National Seashore and Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, making it an excellent starting point for exploration of Cape Cod's natural areas. Note that this is a cartop/hand-launch facility with no vehicle ramps, so expect to carry your vessel to the water.
