The Potapo boat ramp is a well-developed access point located in the southwest corner of McGee Creek Reservoir near Lane, Oklahoma. This two-lane concrete ramp features a dock and paved parking area, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The facility is part of the larger McGee Creek State Park recreation area and serves as an excellent starting point for paddling on the reservoir.
The access site is situated off E Potapo Landing Road and offers more than just boat launching amenities. The Potapo Area includes full RV camping facilities with paved sites, water and electric hookups, comfort stations with showers, and a dump station—making it ideal for paddlers planning multi-day trips or those combining camping with water recreation. The area is pet-friendly and open year-round, with nearby facilities including a fishing pier and additional recreational opportunities at the adjacent Buster Hight Area.
