Potato Hills South offers boat launch access to Sardis Lake, a 14,360-acre reservoir in the scenic Ouachita Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma. Located on the shoreline near Buffalo Creek, this facility provides a convenient starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the expansive lake. The area is well-known for excellent fishing opportunities, particularly for bass species.

The campground is situated in a beautiful natural setting with nearby hiking opportunities in the Ouachita Mountains and direct access to the water for recreation. Beyond the boat ramp, visitors will find picnic areas and other amenities. To reach Potato Hills South from US-69, take the Indian Nations Turnpike south for approximately 26 miles, then follow State Highway 43 and Highway 2 north for about 2 miles to the facility.
