About This Access Site
Pringle Park offers boat ramp access to the northern waters of Lake Pend Oreille, one of Idaho's largest and most scenic alpine lakes. Located in East Hope, this launch provides paddlers and boaters with access to the lake's 65-mile length as it stretches through a stunning glacially carved valley. The ramp is particularly useful for those exploring the northern shore, Warren Island, Pearl Island, and Cottage Island, as well as nearby recreation areas including the David Thompson State Game Reserve and Samowen Campground.

**Important note for boaters:** Pringle Park does not have a dock and is not recommended for launching at low pool. If you're planning a trip during low water conditions, consider alternative launches such as Garfield Bay or the Hope Boat Launch, which remain accessible year-round. The lake level fluctuations are typical for this reservoir system, so check water levels before your visit. This location is best suited for those with smaller craft or during normal to high water conditions.
