About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Prosperine Access is located at the mouth of Mountain Creek on the Niangua River in Bennett Springs, Laclede County. From Lebanon, take Highway 32 East for 5 miles, then turn south on Highway B for 6.8 miles to reach the access on the downstream side of the Osage Fork River Bridge.

**Launching & Conditions:** This is an undeveloped access point featuring a gravel bar suitable for bank fishing and small boat launches, but no formal boat ramp is provided. The Niangua River in this section features a gentle gradient of 3.5 feet per mile, making it ideal for beginners and intermediate paddlers. The river offers clear water, scenic bluffs, sandbars, and natural springs—excellent for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing trips.

**River Character:** The Niangua River through this area runs Class I-II with multiple segments of varying difficulty upstream and downstream. This access point provides good public fishing access and is a suitable starting or ending point for paddling trips on the scenic river.
