About This Access Site
Pushaw Lake in Orono provides convenient public access to one of Maine's largest lakes at 4,683 acres. The boat ramp facility includes a public dock and dedicated canoe/kayak launch area, making it suitable for paddlers of all experience levels. The site is easily accessible via Exit 191 off I-95; head west on the exit ramp and continue to Essex Street to reach the launch.
This expansive lake offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating without launch fees.
