Pymatuning State Park - Cabin Beach

Located in Andover, Ohio, the Cabin Beach ramp provides access to Pymatuning Reservoir, a massive 14,000-acre impoundment offering plenty of open water for paddling, boating, and fishing. This is one of five boat launch ramps positioned around the lake to provide convenient access for watercraft of all types. The ramp is situated near the Ohio campground and cabin facilities (7514 Pymatuning Lake Road), making it a practical choice for visitors staying overnight at the park.

The large reservoir size means paddlers will find extensive areas to explore without feeling crowded, though be aware that a 10-horsepower motor limit is in effect on the Ohio side. If you're interested in a longer stay, the adjacent campground and cabin rentals allow for advance reservations—which are recommended during summer months. For additional boat launch options and amenities, multiple ramps are also available on the Pennsylvania side of the lake, along with several marinas offering boat rentals.
