However, the site does not offer overnight camping - for those interested in extended stays, there are two campgrounds located within 10 miles of the lake. The Vista Del Lago Visitor Center offers views of Pyramid Lake on its wraparound viewing platform. It also provides a giant map room with intriguing facts about California's geology and water supply systems.
