Located just 1 mile west of Pickstown on US Highway 18, Randall Creek Recreation Area provides excellent access to Lake Francis Case and the Missouri River below Fort Randall Dam. This full-service facility features a boat ramp, fishing dock, and day-use amenities including restrooms, drinking water, and picnic areas. The site is ideal for kayakers and canoeists looking to explore the scenic waters of this major reservoir in southeastern South Dakota.
The recreation area is part of a larger campground with 131 campsites offering electric and water hookups, making it convenient for extended trips. Additional onsite amenities include a disc golf course and playgrounds. The location provides access to river mile 879 on the Missouri River system and offers opportunities for fishing, swimming, and wildlife viewing, particularly migratory waterfowl around nearby Lake Andes National Wildlife Refuge.
