About This Access Site
Rangeley Lake State Park offers a well-maintained concrete boat ramp with floats, making it an excellent access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters on this popular 6,000+ acre lake. The ramp is located in a scenic cove area and is available to both day-use visitors and overnight campers. The facility includes modern restrooms with hot showers, picnic areas, and a sandy beach for swimming.

The park is easily accessible via Route 17 from Rumford or Route 4 from Farmington. Rangeley Lake is renowned for its excellent brook trout and landlocked salmon fishing, and the lake offers beautiful scenery ideal for recreational paddling. Note that there are alternative access points nearby: Lakeside Park off Main Street in Rangeley and another ramp on Route 4 in Oquossoc, giving paddlers options depending on their destination on the lake.
