**Location & Access:** The Redondo public boat ramp is located at the south end of the parking lot in Des Moines, providing access to Poverty Bay and Puget Sound. To reach the site, take Interstate 5 to the South 272nd Street exit and follow the road as it runs along the waterfront. The parking lot operates on a pay-by-hour basis (credit card or cash accepted), with gates closing around 8pm; however, an exit is available after closure for those who need to depart.

**Facilities & Conditions:** This City of Des Moines facility features a two-lane public boat launch with a recently added dock, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger motorboats. The ramp's location on Poverty Bay provides saltwater access to Puget Sound. Paddlers should note that entry from the parking area requires crossing the street to access the water stairs. Given the tidal nature of Puget Sound, water conditions and launch difficulty may vary with tide levels.
